Online CBT
See things with more perspective so you can make necessary changes.
Service Description
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that looks at how our thoughts and behaviours impact our feelings. We can all get into cycles of behaviour that are unhelpful to us and we can often get stuck repeating the same patterns and feeling the same unhelpful way. CBT aims to address the cycles that do not work so well for us and help us look at things with more perspective so we can make those changes ourselves. This type of therapy is more solution focused in its approach and is initially led by the therapist, especially in the beginning while you get used to this way of working. It is ultimately a joint teamwork approach. Sometimes, clients are hoping that the therapist can fix all the issues, but as with all talking therapies, the therapist does not have that magic wand to make all the problems go away. What we can do however is work with you to help you find ways of overcoming hurdles, manage your emotions better and work towards a healthier all round mental health.
